Richmond Symphony Chorus to Hold Auditions for New Members, 2/17

January 26, 2015 - Richmond, Virginia The Richmond Symphony Chorus will audition prospective new members at Epiphany Lutheran Church on Tuesday evening, February 17, from 7:00-9:00pm. Visit www.rschorus.com to read about the Chorus and its audition process and access audition preparation materials. If you are interested in auditioning, you will be asked to complete a short audition questionnaire and schedule an appointment. The deadline for submitting the questionnaire is February 13.

The Chorus rehearses weekly on Tuesday evenings at Richmond CenterStage from late August through May. Additional rehearsals take place during performance weeks.

This season, the Chorus performed Mahler's Symphony No. 2 and joined the Richmond Ballet for Carl Orff's Carmina Burana. In addition, it performed in the "Let It Snow" Christmas Pops concerts and Handel's Messiah. In May, the Chorus closes its season with performances of Bernstein's Chichester Psalms and Borodin's Polovtsian Dances.
