PREformances with Allison Charney's stand-out, December 5th concert welcomed featured guests violinist Laura Goldberg, composer and pianist Moshe S. Knoll, soprano Indira Mahajan and Russian-born American pianist Julia Zilberquit with a surprise debut performance by mezzo-soprano Lisa Chavez, occasioned by noted mezzo soprano Sara Murphy who was indisposed.
Joining founder and host, soprano Allison Charney and PREformances' collaborative pianist Craig Ketter in performance, the festive program included a tour de force performance by soprano Indira Mahajan of Puccini's aria from Turandot 'In questa reggia', contemporary classical compositions, operatic and oratorio masterworks, and selections by Bach-Siloti, Rachmaninoff and Nicolas Slonimsky.
