WHAT: Newly returned from a tour to Florida and energized by a season of artistic achievement, Santiago Strings delivers an electrifying musical culmination of its silver jubilee! This concert reflects on Santiago Strings' 25 years of musical excellence and celebrates the future with a world premiere commission by Pacific Symphony Composer-in- Residence Narong Prangcharoen. Also, Dvo?ák's "Slavonic Dance" in E Minor, Bartok's "Dances of Transylvania" and more!

Thanks to sponsors Helen and Peter Bing, admission is free, but tickets are required. For more information or to reserve tickets, call (714) 755-5799 or visit www.PacificSymphony.org.

WHEN: Sunday, May 1, at 7 p.m.

WHY: No one should miss the inspiring talent of the youngest members of Pacific Symphony Youth Ensembles-especially as they celebrate a landmark anniversary! Santiago Strings represents 30 schools in and beyond Orange County, and provides an experience that nurtures the confidence, poise and musical sensitivity of young musicians through the study and performance of outstanding string orchestra literature.
