Pacific Symphony partners with The Center for Autism & Neurodevelopmental Disorders to provide "A Night with Pacific Symphony." The first performance/discussion takes place tonight, Sept. 30, at 6 p.m.; the second on Tuesday, Oct. 14, at 6 p.m. Both events takes place at The Center for Autism, located at 2500 Red Hill Ave., in Santa Ana
Attendance is closed to the public. These events are a unique opportunity for The Center for Autism's families to experience and enjoy a live musical performance featuring a quintet composed of Pacific Symphony musicians. Taking place in a safe, comfortable and intimate setting designed just for families affected by autism, these interactive events are intended to be both entertaining and educational and include a discussion about the music.
Inspired by recent scientific research and studies offering evidence that music can have a profound impact on a person's health, Pacific Symphony has embraced the power music on wellness by collaborating on new projects with three partners. These include, in addition to The Center for Autism and Neurodevelopmental Disorders, Age Well Senior Services and Orange County Rescue Mission.
