PSO to Present 'Behind the Music of Anna Clyne with Jennifer Koh and Rossen Milanov,' 9/26

On Saturday, September 26 at 3 pm, Princeton Symphony Orchestra Music Director Rossen Milanov makes his first appearance of the season as host of the PSO's Behind the Music event featuring violinist Jennifer Koh at the Arts Council of Princeton's Paul Robeson Center. Ms. Koh discusses her years of collaborating with composer Anna Clyne, paying particular attention to Ms. Clyne's recent work The Seamstress for Violin and Orchestra. Mr. Milanov offers his own insights into preparing Ms. Clyne's work for live performance and gives audience members an opportunity to join in the conversation.

Ms. Clyne is a Grammy-nominated composer of acoustic and electro-acoustic music. Her work, described as "dazzlingly inventive" by Time Out New York, often includes collaborations with cutting-edge choreographers, visual artists, film-makers, and musicians worldwide.

Jennifer Koh is a violinist recognized for her intense, commanding performances, delivered with dazzling virtuosity and technical assurance. She originally reached out to Anna Clyne five years ago after listening to her music, and the two have been friends and creative partners ever since.
