New Hampshire Theatre Project announces a brand new company, called the Story Theatre Troupe and led by NHTP Teaching Artist Liz Krane. This dedicated group of seacoast area students is bound to delight all with its production of Tales & Tricksters, a whimsical collection of stories and poems that will tickle the funny bone and delight the young at heart. Tales & Tricksters is designed to captivate younger audience members and their families with tales and poems from Ireland, Africa, eastern Europe and the US.

Younger students with a desire to perform for the community caused New Hampshire Theatre Project's staff to look at their already existing programs and ask if there was a need still to be filled. "NHTP's educational programs have always drawn older students who are seriously interested in training and technique. But the high demand from parents and audience inspired us to create this exciting new program for younger students," says artistic Director Genevieve Aichele.

Tickets are available and reservations recommended. Performances are held on Saturday, November 21 & 28 at 11am & 2pm at 959 Islington Street in Portsmouth, NH. Ticket prices are $8 general admission, $6 for members, and $25 for a family of four. Please call 603-431-6644 ext. 4 or email reservations@nhtheatreproject.org for reservations. Tales & Tricksters is recommended for ages 4-12.

Incorporated in 1988, New Hampshire Theatre Project is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization dedicated to artistic excellence, bringing high quality productions of classical and contemporary drama to the community through their professional season, the NHTP Youth Repertory Company, and an educational programs for all ages.
