Nashville Symphony announces two ticket programs designed to make classical music affordable for college students and music lovers under the age of 30. Both programs are part of the Symphony's commitment to ensuring that everyone in Middle Tennessee has an opportunity to enjoy great music at Schermerhorn Symphony Center.
Newly revamped this year, the Symphony's SoundCheck program makes it easy for college students to sign up for a full year's worth of Aegis Sciences Classical Series concerts at the Schermerhorn. All they have to do is show their college ID to purchase a $25 SoundCheck membership, and they get unlimited access to classical concerts throughout the entire season. SoundCheck memberships may be purchased in person at the Schermerhorn box office or by phone at 615.687.6400. Students must show a valid government-issued ID, along with their SoundCheck card, at the box office each time they wish to obtain a concert ticket. The Nashville Symphony has also launched a brand-new program, Wavelength, for college graduates and music lovers under the age of 30. Available for $85 per person or $150 per couple, this membership gives participants the chance to enjoy as many Aegis Sciences Classical Series concerts as they wish throughout the Nashville Symphony's 2013/14 concert season. To join Wavelength, they simply purchase a membership card at the Schermerhorn box office or call 615.687.6400.
