Music Sensation Il Volo to Play Concert at Kleinhans Music Hall, 2/5/16

BUFFALO, NY -- Parkanna Shows proudly welcomes worldwide musical sensation Il Volo to Kleinhans Music Hall Friday, Feb. 5 at 8 p.m. Il Volo is kicking off their United States tour in Buffalo to support their new CD Grande Amore, due for release in late September. In addition, PBS/WNED Channel 17 will be airing "Il Volo: Live from Pompeii" on Thursday August 27 at 9:30 p.m. The special offers a look at their recent concert at the legendary ruins of Pompeii. The spectacle marked the first time since 1971 that an artist (the last one was Pink Floyd) had performed at this site near present day-Naples.

Il Volo (Piero Barone, Gianluca Ginoble and Ignazio Boschetto) released their first CD in 2011. It debuted at number 10 on the Billboard chart and has since sold more than 10 million copies. The self-titled CD contained ll Volo's breakthrough smash "O Sole Mio," along with an emotionally stirring rendition of Charlie Chaplin's "Smile." Their astonishing vocals were on full display on the CD/DVD "Il Volo takes Flight-Live from the Detroit Opera House" The PBS special has been shown more than 2,100 times since its original airing in 2012. They have also made appearances on The Tonight Show, The Today Show, The Talk, Ellen, American Idol, Good Morning America and were a surprise guest on the last episode of the HBO hit series Entourage.

Il Volo sang with Barbra Streisand in 2012, performed at Madison Square Garden in NYC as special guests of Laura Pausini, won a Billboard Latin Music Award and toured the United States and Latin America to sellout crowds.

Il Volo, performing under the self-proclaimed motto "Three voices, one soul," are flying higher for themselves and their fans. After all, their name Il Volo comes from the Italian for "flight."
