Enjoy an afternoon of favorite Bel Canto showpieces presented by four gifted, up-and-coming artists from the Metropolitan Opera. Soprano Joyce El-Khoury, tenor Matthew Plenk and baritone Nicholas Pallesen will perform excerpts from Verdi's La Traviata and Donizetti's Lucia di Lammermoor and L'Elisir d'Amore, accompanied by pianist Lachlan Glen, in a captivating program that mixes romance, tragedy and comedy.

The Metropolitan Opera Rising Stars series features artists who are on the cusp of extraordinary careers through their association with the Met or its Lindemann Young Artist Development Program. The next recital is Romantic Treasures on Sunday, May 10.
