Today, August 31, 2013 at 8:00 pm, Mercury - The Orchestra Redefined will present its free 2013-2014 season kickoff concert, 8 Seasons, at the Miller Outdoor Theatre.

The Houston public is invited to attend an enchanting combination of Vivaldi and Piazzolla's Four Seasons, with an Argentine twist. The baroque composer's masterpiece is reincarnated with a sensual tango interpretation.

The evening promises to be fun for the whole family - bring your friends, snacks and a blanket, and enjoy an evening listening to beautiful music under the stars!

A promotional subscription will also be offered to the public, and Mercury's new CD, Schubert's "Death and the Maiden", will be on sale at the Marketing Table.

The concert features Jonathan Godfrey, Solo Violin Denis Plante, Bandoneon and Antoine Plante, Conductor.

Another performance coordinate by the University of Houston, Clear Lake Student Life Box Office will take place on Thursday, August 29 at 8:00 pm.
