Mary Gatchell brings her singer/songwriter/pianist talents to Leddy Center once more, as she presents her smooth and exciting style of performing timeless jazz standards and her own light rock and pop creations. Mary and her incredible band are among some of the most premiere musicians on the East Coast and together will perform a magical evening, October 16, for the Leddy Center audience.

Mary Gatchell's band from NYC now includes the well-known and highly respected drummer, Rodney Holmes. Holmes joined the Santana Band for the Santana-Bob Dylan Tour, followed by offers in the jazz area to record and tour with the legendary Brecker Brothers, performing on their Grammy winning album, "Out Of The Loop" and on their Grammy winning song "African Skies."

Rounding out Mary's band on Friday, October 16, at 7:30pm, is bassist, Peter Donavan, a Juilliard graduate, who has played with the New York Philharmonic, The Who, Bono, Quincy Jones, Wynton Marsalis, and Barbara Cook. He played bass on the 2008 Broadway Cast Recordings of "South Pacific" and "Fiddler on the Roof" and is presently bassist on Broadway for Disney's "Mary Poppins."
