The wildly popular Koerner Hall Free for All is back! In 2014, The Royal Conservatory offered the opportunity for anyone who ever dreamed of performing on the Koerner Hall stage to do just that - for five minutes - and the schedule was packed. This year, for Culture Days, the event will be back on Saturday, October 1, 2016.

Aspiring and professional musicians are encouraged to bring their best solo piece, sing a song, or bring their band, and to invite their friends and family to hear their five minutes of glory. Acoustic performances will be between 12 noon and 3pm and amplified performances from 5pm to 8pm. This event will also be broadcast online for free at rcmusic.ca/livestream.

The online signup form will be available at performance.rcmusic.ca/event/free_for_all starting Friday, July 29until Monday, August 15, 2016. Limited performance spots are available. Participants of all ages and skill levels are encouraged to play any musical style they choose. With the aim of creating the broadest spectrum of performances possible, applicants will be required to submit a short video of what they intend to perform.
