New England blues legend James Montgomery and his Band will be appearing in a Holiday show at Bridge Street Live tonight, December 18 in a special early evening event which begins at 7:00 PM.

Montgomery, who originally hails from Michigan, began the original James Montgomery Band as a Boston University student in the late '60s. Their success led to a series of major label releases along with tours with acts such as KISS, Foghat, Sly & the Family Stone and many more. James has continued recording into the present, recently releasing a studio CD called "From Detroit to the Delta" and his most recent release, a compilation of his greatest songs called "All My Best 1973 - 1983"

Along with his stellar band, Montgomery will have as special guests for the evening guitarist Cliff Goodwin who currently performs with the Mohegan Sun All-Stars as well as with Christine Ohlman of Saturday Night Lives' "Beehive Queen". Cliff is known as the former music director for Joe Cocker, the legendary British blues performer and Woodstock participant. Cliff has also toured the world as a sideman for many other performers over the last few decades during hi rare free time from his current commitments.

Also joining James will be jazz ingénue, Grace Kelly. The 22 year old Grace has taken the music world by storm sharing stages around the world as a headliner and featured performer with some of Jazz and R&B greatest performers ranging from Huey Lewis to Gloria Estefan. "Grace Kelly is a unique and genuine talent. Great young performers are nothing new, but someone who possesses such ease of expression and musical personality at such an early stage of her career is a find, indeed. I can't wait to see what her future holds!" ...Keith Lockhart - Boston Symphony Orchestra
