Idaho Falls Arts Council Presents The New Shanghai Circus, Tom Rigney and Flambeau, and the California Guitar Trio

The Idaho Falls Arts Council announced its upcoming events- featuring the New Shanghai Circus, Tom Rigney and Flambeau, and the California Guitar Trio.

The New Shanghai Circus will perform on February 4 at 7:30 pm. at the Colonial Theater. Skilled athletes defy gravity and execute breathtaking feats as they stretch the limits of human ability in this show. Fearless performers with boundless energy bring you more than two thousand years of Chinese circus traditions including acrobats, jugglers and contortionists.
Tickets cost $29 and are on sale now.

Also on sale now are tickets to see Tom Rigney and his 4 piece band Flambeau. The group specializes in fiery Cajun and zydeco two-steps, low-down blues, funky grooves, swing, a hint of Irish roots, rock-n-roll, and beautiful ballads and waltzes. Tom Rigney and Flambeau will perform on February 20 at 8 pm at the Colonial Theater. Tickets cost $28.

Last is the California Guitar Trio, performing on March 6 and 8 pm. The group performs a whirlwind of instrumental styles fusing classical, rock, blues, jazz, world music, progressive, as well as the quintessential California musical genre surf music. The California Guitar Trio has an enthusiastic following and wide notoriety, with significant crossover in the progressive, acoustic and classical music scenes. Tickets are $29.
