CityListen Audio Tours, the publisher of downloadable audio walking tours for iPods and MP3 players, announces the release of Walkin' Broadway, hosted by Elliott Forrest. The tour takes listeners on a journey through Broadway past and present, mixing a historic walk through New York's theater district with fascinating anecdotes and recollections from over a dozen exclusive interviews with a veritable who's who of the theater, including James Naughton, Ossie Davis, Stephen Schwartz, John Raitt and Hal Prince.

Never before have Broadway enthusiasts been able to stroll past the district's most notable and legendary theaters while listening on their own iPod as a host of actors, writers, producers and directors offer behind the scenes stories and memorable tales about current hits, legendary performances and notorious flops. The tour features STORIES from the creative talents behind such shows as A Chorus Line, Avenue Q, Chicago, Hair, Fiddler on the Roof, Pippin, Sweeney Todd and so many more.

Walkin' Broadway is available for purchase via a secure transaction for the introductory price of $7.95 at www.citylisten.com and downloaded immediately for transfer to an iPod or MP3 player. A PDF map for the tour can also be downloaded from the site. The running time is about 55 minutes, in addition to stops people may wish to make along the way.

Elliott Forrest is a Peabody award winning broadcaster and producer. He can now be heard on WQXR, the classical radio station in New York City, and he is the national radio host of the syndicated concerts from The Chamber Music Society of Lincoln Center. Elliott's work has included being the host of the long-running Breakfast with the Arts and Biography this Week on A&E Television, in addition to extensive work with PBS, CNN and HBO.

"Walkin' Broadway is a one-of-a-kind experience that any fan of Broadway will find endlessly fascinating," says CityListen Audio Tours Founder and President, Jonathan Paisner. "Elliott has an infectious love of the theater -and the interviews on this tour create a very personal connection with these luminaries of the Broadway stage."

"Currently there is no Broadway Museum," says producer and tour host Elliott Forrest, "and now there is an opportunity for theater lovers, tourists and long-time New Yorkers to stroll from theater to theater hearing about the greatest theater district in the world from great Broadway artists themselves!"
