Cedar Lake Ensemble will be performing a benefit for Dancers Responding to AIDS on Friday, October 1st at 8 p.m. and Saturday, October 2 at 8 p.m., at the Joyce Soho, 155 Mercer Street (between Houston and Prince Street).

The program consists of works by Cedar Lake Artistic Director L. Jen Ballard and resident choreographer Benoit Swan-Pouffer. The repertoire for the benefit includes original contemporary ballet performances including the New York City debut of Ballard's piece entitled "Detatched."

According to Hedy Weiss at the Chicago Sun-Times, "…the company, with their blend of bravura athleticism and a classical ballet style that harks back to the Bolshoi Ballet – are virtuosic."

Benefactor's tickets are $300 and include two Prime performance and pre-performance reception tickets to the show of your choice. Friend's tickets are $100 and include one Priority performance and pre-performance reception ticket to the show of your choice.

The Host Committee includes: Marc Blackwell & Eric Reintz, Nancy Delieto & Kate Rudin, Ian Keate, Mike and Laura Hartstein, Nancy Laurie, Ed Lewis & Glen Wielgus, Michael Schaible, Jack Schlegal and Signature Films.

Tickets can be purchased online at
www.dradance.org or by calling (212) 840-0770 ext. 268. All but $25.00 per ticket is deductible for income tax purposes. You will receive a post benefit thank you letter for tax purposes.
