The one and only Bernadette Peters will bring her glamour to the Calgary Philharmonic Orchestra for two rare Canadian appearances on May 18 & 19, 2022.
An Evening with Bernadette Peters (Wednesday, May 18) features the Broadway legend on the stage of the intimate Bella Concert Hall joined by a trio of her musicians and members of the Orchestra. Conductor, orchestrator, and arranger, Tedd Firth leads the Orchestra.
Bernadette Peters at the Jubilee (Thursday, May 19) is a glamorous evening as only Broadway's brightest star can deliver. The charismatic performer steps into the spotlight again as the full Orchestra sets the stage for a special performance. Guest conductor Tedd Firth and Associate Conductor Karl Hirzer take turns leading the Orchestra.

She is also an author and animal activist. For decades, the multi award-winning entertainer has been dazzling audiences and critics with her performances on stage and television, in concert, and on recordings. As part of her Calgary Phil performances, Bernadette Peters brings her irresistible flair to the songs from the Broadway shows she's received countless accolades for, excerpts from her Grammy Award-winning and nominated albums, as well as standards by Rodgers & Hammerstein, Stephen Sondheim (she is widely considered the foremost interpreter of his works) and Jerry Herman, among others.
These events are presented in partnership with the Taylor Family Foundation to bring the gift of great music to Calgary.
