Baltimore Symphonic Band, under the direction of Christopher Wolfe, will kick off CCBC Performing Arts' "A Year of Shakespeare" with a concert of music inspired by literature, including selections including Tchaikovsky's "Romeo and Juliet." Bring your blankets and picnic baskets and enjoy the concert alfresco on Saturday, Sept. 24 at 6 p.m. on the Library patio and lawn at CCBC Catonsville, 800 S. Rolling Road. [Please note that alcohol is not permitted and CCBC is a tobacco-free environment.] The concert is free and open to the public. No reservations are needed.
