Jordan Rudess

Keyboard Wizard of Dream Theatre

WHAT'S ON YOUR IPOD?

Jordan Rudess is without question one of the great keyboard virtuosos in world today. From his early solo work, thru his collaborations with Rod Morgenstern of the Dixie Dregs, to his extraordinary contributions to progressive metal legends Dream Theatre.

Dream Theatre will hit the road for a European tour at the end of April, but Jordan will be using the time between now and then to play a series of solo acoustic piano gigs. He is calling the show "From Bach to Rock: A Musician's Journey," and the show will chronicle Jordan's own journey from classical prodigy at Juilliard to his current status as a rock keyboard legend.

Broadway Classical caught up with Jordan as he was preparing for his upcoming solo gigs. A full feature will run this weekend. We asked Jordan to participate is our popular feature "WHAT'S ON YOUR Ipod?" and he provided a list as interesting and eclectic as one of his solos.
