Arizona Musicfest Hosts Tournament Today for Music Scholarships

Have fun and raise money to help send talented young musicians to college-level Schools of Music!

The Arizona Musicfest Putting Tournament, which raises funds for Arizona Musicfest Scholarships, will be held today, April 7, 2015, on the 18-hole Putting Course at the beautiful Tonto Verde Golf Club in Rio Verde. Registration is $100 per person for golf and the party or $50 for the party only. The registration fee includes two mulligans plus entry into the "Hole in One Challenge," with the winner splitting a $1000 pot with Arizona Musicfest ($500 goes to the winner, $500 goes to Arizona Musicfest). Sponsorship opportunities still exist for Tournament Hole Sponsors. For just $200, sponsors will be recognized with attractive signage on the greens. This is a great way to promote a local business as well as for individuals to show their support for Arizona Musicfest
Registration is at 2:30pm, with a shotgun start at 3:30pm. There will be a Clubhouse Party immediately following the tournament with complimentary wine, appetizers and a light dinner buffet.

"The Clubhouse Party will feature exceptional musical entertainment by some of the extraordinary young musicians who benefit directly from Musicfest's music education and youth performance programs," said Mary Goldthwaite, Putting Tournament Co-Chair. "Recent Arizona Musicfest Scholarship recipients have gone to excel at some of the most prestigious collegiate music institutions of the country, including The Juilliard School, Eastman School of Music, The Thornton School of Music at USC, the Cleveland Institute of Music and ASU's School of Music.
Tournament Co-Chair Susan Warren announces "There will be prizes for the low gross, individual and foursome; plus a limited voice auction of wonderful items. And don't miss the drawing for the fabulous Arizona Musicfest 'Big Easy Raffle'!"

The "Big Easy Raffle" Grand Prize is a New Orleans Getaway Package valued at $4,000: four nights of luxury hotel accommodations, airport limousine service, plus generous airfare and entertainment stipends.
The Second Prize is Two Premium Season Passes to Arizona Musicfest 2016, a total value of $1,800.
The Third Prize is a Two Night Stay at the Four Seasons Resort Scottsdale at Troon North, with a total value of $1,400.

Tickets for the "Big Easy Raffle" are available at the Putting Tournament and at the Arizona Musicfest office.
