ANNAPOLIS, MD - On Friday December 18, at 8:00pm, the Annapolis Symphony Orchestra, under the musical direction of José-Luis Novo, performs our Holiday Pops concert, entitled Simply Sinatra Christmas, featuring Steve Lippia, at Maryland Hall for the Creative Arts. The performance is presented by PNC Wealth Management.
Simply Sinatra Christmas is a festive holiday show featuring pops sensation Steve Lippia. In this show, Steve performs some of the most well-know and beloved Frank Sinatra songs as well as a variety of popular Christmas songs. This show is a wonderful blend of holiday cheer, memories and jazz/swing standards with an energetic flair that only a big band can provide.
Audiences will be treated to great tunes such as Come Fly with Me, All The Way, Summer Wind, Lady Is a Tramp and I've Got You Under My Skin, as well as Christmas favorites like Let It Snow, White Christmas, Santa Clause is Coming to Town, and White Christmas.
Steve Lippia has become one of the most prominent, in-demand vocalists and has quickly established his place among the finest interpreters of "standards" and traditional pop music in the nation. Steve's youthful, energetic talent and powerful show creates a perfect blend of "classic" with "today." His show introduces a new generation to this timeless music, while appealing to long-time listeners.
