Join the Ann Arbor Symphony at the Jewish Community Center of Greater Ann Arbor on Monday, January 16 at 1:30 pm. This hour-long concert features Beethoven's Piano Trio in D Major, No. 1, "Ghost" and Dvo?ák's Piano Trio No. 4 "Dumky Trio."

Arie Lipsky is Music Director and Conductor of the Ann Arbor Symphony Orchestra. A musician's musician, a most collaborative of conductors, and a community-recognized leader, at this recital Arie Lipsky trades in his baton for his beloved cello. Lipsky leads the Chautaqua Institution Summer Chamber program where he serves on the faculty and as coach. Lipsky was principal cellist for the Buffalo Philharmonic for 16 seasons.
Danielle Belen is currently on faculty at the University of Michigan School of Music, Theatre and Dance for violin performance and The Colburn School in Los Angeles, California. Belen is the winner of the 2008 Sphinx Competition. Belen served as Concertmaster of the New
West Symphony and performed as soloist with the orchestra numerous times. Belen founded Center Stage Strings, a summer camp and performance festival for gifted young musicians in California. After gaining national attention, CSS has now moved to the campus of The University of Michigan in Ann Arbor as part of MPulse, a summer program run by the School of Music, Theatre and Dance.
Alon Goldstein has played with the Philadelphia orchestra, the Chicago Symphony, the San Francisco, Baltimore, St. Louis, Dallas, Houston, Toronto and Vancouver symphonies as well as the Israel Philharmonic, London Philharmonic, Los Angeles and Radio France Orchestra. Goldstein 2016-2017 season include debuts with the Hungarian National Orchestra, the Orquesta Sinfonica Nacional de Costa Rica, and the Virginia, Ann Arbor and Rogue Valley symphony orchestras.
Tickets are $10 and are available online at a2so.com or at the door. General seating at our chamber concert series is a comfortable cabaret style. Guests will enjoy light refreshments before and during the concert.
The JCC of Greater Ann Arbor is located at 2935 Birch Hollow Dr Ann Arbor, MI 48108 (Stone School Road, North of 1-94 bridge). Free parking, additional street parking and parking across the street at Spruce Knob Apartments is available.
