Violinist Alina Pogostkina has been confirmed to replace Hilary Hahn in her performance with the Los Angeles Philharmonic at the Hollywood Bowl, Thursday, August 7, at 8 pm. Following medical advice Hahn very much regrets that she must withdraw from her professional engagements for the next six weeks due to an inflamed muscle. She looks forward to resuming her concert schedule in September.

The concert will be Pogostkina's Hollywood Bowl debut. She partners with LA Phil Principal Cellist Robert deMaine in Brahms' Double Concerto. Sensational young Lithuanian conductor and former Dudamel Conducting Fellow Mirga Grazinyte-Tyla makes her Bowl debut in the program that also includes Mahler's Symphony No. 1.
