The Atlanta Symphony Orchestra will host its fifth annual Symphony Gala on Saturday, March 7, 2015, at the Woodruff Arts Center in Atlanta. The evening will include a performance by Broadway star, comedian and actor Jason Alexander with the Atlanta Symphony Orchestra (ASO). Proceeds will benefit the Orchestra and its education and community engagement programs. Tickets will be available for purchase beginning Monday, January 5, 2015 at www.atlantasymphony.org.
Patron guests will begin their evening at 6:00 p.m. with a pre-concert cocktail reception in the Stent Atrium at the High Museum of Art.
At 7:30 p.m., Jason Alexander will give a special performance with the Atlanta Symphony Orchestra. The multi-talented Mr. Alexander, who may best be known for his starring role as George Costanza in one of television's most prolific and lauded shows, "Seinfeld," has an equally respectable Broadway career. He has starred in shows ranging from Hal Prince and Stephen Sondheim's musical, Merrily We Roll Along, to his Tony Award-winning performance in Jerome Robbins' Broadway.
Following the concert, patron guests will enjoy a seated dinner in the Taylor Lobby of the High Museum of Art. Throughout the evening, patrons will have the opportunity to bid on luxury items at a silent auction.
After dinner, the lounge-style after party in the Stent Atrium will feature desserts and dancing to conclude the evening.
The evening's attire is black tie.
