A collection of Zeinab Arjah's emotionally charged poetry, "Artificial Life" (published by Balboa Press AU) dabbles in different levels of light and darkness. Expressing both good and bad times, the poems resonate feelings of passion, love, friendship and loss.

"I started posting poems that I wrote daily on social media and from then, received really great amount of support and feedback from people I knew and others who I didn't know existed yet stated I 'changed' their life," Arjah says. "People's comments and constant support led me to crave to go even higher and send my message across the world to help change other's lives positively."

Lyrical and filled with imagery, the poems in "Artificial Life" traverse the difficult reality of life and offer glimpses of hope, even in the darkest of times. They bridge the gap between actuality and the realm of imagination and ultimately speak to the pursuit of living a life of joy and peace.

Through her work, Arjah hopes her readers will see "that if they're going through something tough in their life, the best thing to do is face the reality and praise God."

About the Author
Around the age of 16, poet Zeinab Arjah fell upon great emotional turmoil. She turned to religion and found comfort in her faith, but she also turned to the written word. She posted many of her verses online in the hope of reaching other people facing similar troubles in an effort to say, "You are not alone." This is her first book.
