Work of Fiction Centers on Disgraced Pharmacist Image With 30 years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry, Frank Hozeska was inspired to write his first novel inspired by the difficult realities of working as a pharmacist in "Mad Druggist."

The book centers on Louie, a pharmacist who gets fired from every pharmacy job. He is accused of lying, stealing, sexual harassment, rebuking a customer, insubordination, getting kickbacks, and others. They are all isolated incidents with extenuating circumstances, coupled with a string of bad luck and ungodly hypocrites in authority.

"I wanted to share with the world all the crazy and cruel happenings that happened to me in my 30-year pharmacy career and my life, which were unbelievable, not like the typical pharmacy career," said Hozeska. "Every job was a fight to keep my dignity and it's a cruel pharmacy world."

The tumultuous pharmacy career finally catches up with Louie, and no one is willing to give him another chance or a break. Louie ends up a washed-up pharmacist and is ready to give up his fight, until something crazy happens in the final round.
