Women Of Influence Featured for Sexual Assault Awareness Month

Our nation continues to seek healing as our communities and our families mourn, grieve and find healing from the heartbreaks that have affected our youth, the escalated numbers of loss in opioid addiction, teen homelessness, daily sexual assaults, and deaths. From the heartland of America, many Women of Influence have come together to heal the brokenhearted and share their freedom of overcoming loss, sexual assaults, and their invisible wounds. The Women of Influence featured by Eden Gordon Media include mothers and daughters, victims of numerous acts of assault and altogether a powerhouse of women who fight to protect and bring healing to the victimized. A former Fortune 500 leader, an entrepreneur, a corporate trainer, a faith-based leader and a co-founder of nonprofit. Women of Influence from Oregon, Andi Buerger - Sexual Assault is an Abomination

Andi Buerger is an international speaker, corporate trainer, educator, business owner, writer, media talent, public relations and marketing consultant, nonprofit executive, and community ambassador. Andi is the Executive Director and Co-Founder of Beulah's Place, a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization providing temporary shelter services to at-risk homeless teen boys and girls. She is in the process of locating a permanent facility in which to rescue and house more at-risk teens.

I also watched my father repeatedly abuse my sisters and my brothers. The cry for help led me to want to help our society through my writings and my work. Laura Vivian is a former Fortune 500 leader, speaker, author, and educator. Laura is the author of "This Should Never Have Happened", a true-life account of Laura, a child whose mother only physically present and a father's force that was ever present imposing sexual terror upon their seven children. Laura is beginning her second book release date to be determined.

Women of Influence from Indiana, Holly K. Dunn - Invisible Wounds of Sexual Assault

"As our nation remembers the victims of sexual assault this April 2018 for Sexual Assualt Awareness Month, I am asking our communities, our neighbors, our families, our leaders at the federal, state and local level to recognize the killer next door, sexual assault trauma. This epidemic affects our nation's service members at a greater level that we can't even fathom. Let us use our voices to heal the deafening sound of the invisible wounds of sexual assault."

Holly's work includes being the spokesperson for Holly's House, a local sexual abuse and domestic violence advocacy center which she co-founded in her hometown of Evansville, IN. That passion later evolved into her current full-time work as a motivational speaker and trainer, using her own experience and uplifting message to inspire and enlighten.

About one in five women have told their VA health care provider that they experienced sexual trauma in the military. This statistic is found in the U.S. Department of Veteran Affairs, Women Veterans Healthcare. On April 11, 2018, Sexual Assault Spokesperson, Author of Sole Survivor, Co-Founder of Holly's House and inspiration speaker, Holly K. Dunn will speak to female veterans about her personal journey of PTSD and trauma sustained from her attack in 1997 by the infamous Railroad Killer.

Dunn will be featured in Eastern North Carolina by The Pamlico Rose Institute, Ruth's House, Open Door Community Center and the Arts of the Pamlico for an evening of conversation about PTSD and the effects of sexual assault. "We all have a story, my story gives them a sense of inspiration, and there is life after. We need to remember our women veterans." said Holly K. Dunn
