Winning Writers is proud to announce a complete redesign of its award-winning website at WinningWriters.com. The new site, designed by Derek Allard at Tunnel 7, features responsive layouts that work well with a wide variety of devices, from smartphones to high-resolution computer monitors.
"We've been providing in-depth literary contest information since 2001," says Winning Writers president Adam Cohen, "and it was time to step up the quality of our presentation to match the quality of the content. We chose Tunnel 7 to redesign our website for their expertise in design, online marketing, and content management systems. We especially wanted to give more prominence to the winners of our own poetry and prose contests. We couldn't be more pleased with the results. The website looks warm, engaging, and authoritative, and it's easier for us to manage the content."
"The previous incarnation of the website had served Winning Writers well for many years," notes Derek Allard, "but it was time to bring the website forward to 2014. Prior to the redesign we ran experiments on contest entry pages in the old website. We found new designs that could improve entry completion rates. This success informed the new design and guided us towards the clean, simplified look Winning Writers now has. Working with principals like Adam Cohen and Jendi Reiter, who are highly invested in the project and open to working collaboratively, was key as well. Client feedback and collaboration are invaluable in website design."
