Wayman Publishing, a young press, is slowly but surely making its mark by producing "quality over quantity." This company is based on the idea that talent exists in everyone and "the right words can change lives."
From May 27th - 31st, 2013 Wayman Publishing is holding a special giveaway event where bloggers are invited to write a short story on their blog about a random act of kindness that changed their lives. The posts will be featured on Wayman's site so everyone can enjoy eachother's stories. And each blogger/reader will have a chance to be entered in Wayman's iPad Mini Sweepstakes.
This all started because Elisa Hirsch, co-founder of Wayman Publishing, is often regarded for her random acts of kindness and shares her appreciation for life, no matter how challenging it can become. "It's meant to be" is a common explanation she gives for everything, good or bad.
This week, a random act of kindness was returned to her. She was given an iPad Mini, which she is now offering as the prize for this event, in an effort to bring about more random acts of kindness.
In addition to giving away this wonderful electronic device, Wayman Publishing is also offering a chance for writers, accomplished and novice, to be published in their upcoming "Random Acts of Kindness Anthology." All profit from this project-through December of 2013-will be donated to charity.
Wayman Publishing's last anthology, "Open Doors: Fractured Fairy Tales," was a resounding success; all of the project's profit from 2012 was donated to a local children's hospital and many lives were blessed.
Wayman is hoping that this event will begin a trend, that their company will grow, and that random acts of kindness will become even more common.
