The best things to sell on eBay aren't iPods or xBoxes. According to Waterhouse Research the best things to sell on eBay that yield high profits are low cost, high volume items that people use every day. Waterhouse Research, founded by eBay millionaire Neil Waterhouse, has recently found a product that is selling at a 110 percent return on investment (ROI).

The product is a three shelf bus cart. Doesn't sound like the most exciting item, does it? But because it meets criteria of a high demand and profit these are the sort of things to sell on eBay that Waterhouse Research finds and informs subscribers about in order to help them increase their eBay sales and profits.

"There are many, many things to sell on eBay, what we do is find the ones that have not only high volume sales, but high profits, more than 100 percent ROI," Neil Waterhouse said. "We have a proven algorithm that not only searches eBay, but also Amazon and many search engines to identify what is being sold. We then share that information with our Waterhouse Research subscribers."

According to Neil the most asked question at eBay seminars is, "What do I sell online?" Waterhouse Research finds the answer to that question, finding thousands of new products to sell on eBay through the use of in house developed software on 24 servers that track more than 4 billion keywords. The company stays away from brand name items to ensure that nobody ends up selling fraudulent merchandise.

"We find products that are consistently selling for 3 to 12 months that sell for at least double their original cost," Neil said. "This utility cart can be bought in bulk for $24 per piece and sells on eBay at an average cost of $50.36. This is one of our smaller return items, as well. But it still produces a profit of $580 a month under normal selling circumstances."
