Warren Perry Shares Travel Adventure in YOU WENT WHERE?

The last place Warren Perry ever expected to find himself was Cameroon with a woman he had only just met through a personal ad. Home to the tallest mountain in West Africa, Cameroon was hardly his idea of a vacation, but the result of his three month trip turned into a change of heart and his new book, "You Went Where?: An Unexpected Journey to Cameroon" (published by iUniverse).

"I wrote this book because I had a story to tell that was worth telling," says Perry.

Perry's incredible story starts in Boston. He had all but given up on romance and believed it was no longer possible, but a chance glance at a personal ad changed everything. "Coffee, conversation, music; seeking warm friendship, Boston area, with romantic person in 60's who loves foreign travel," said the ad. Intrigued by the ad, Perry met Lorna Hoover, the women who had written it. Readers will find out how love blossomed and what brought them to Cameroon.

"The reader can experience the feeling of living in Cameroon," Perry says. He encourages his readers take chances with their travel destinations. "I hope that my readers will feel empowered to travel in a similar fashion."
