Author Barbara Vampran launches a new marketing campaign for her book, "Win a Friend: Marry behind bars. Find a relationship with God and our Lord Jesus Christ" (published by Balboa Press), which details the trials she and her husband have gone through in hopes of helping readers through their trials in life.

Barbara Vampran combines the story of her relationship with God with the story of her life with her husband, Dean. Barbara and Dean Vampran met while Dean was in prison. He was housed at Camp Win a Friend, a camp for underprivileged children that also housed prison trustees.

In her book, Barbara Vampran helps readers to understand the nature of how a relationship begins with a man who is in prison, and the unique and varied trials they have gone through and continue to experience.

"The Bible says, 'I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me,'" Barbara Vampran says. "When you get out of your comfort zone, you will find that wherever God wants to take you, you will be alright. In our lives, God has challenged us to step out and do things to serve him. This is what I did when I wrote this book."
