Sandra Alvarado announces the release of "Victoria's Dreams: Adventures in Space," her first children's book.

"Children dream of a happy life and a bright future. What they can grow up to be is limited only by their imaginations," states Sandra. "This story is a new kind of fairy tale, where the happy ending doesn't involve finding a significant other, but rather finding yourself, and what makes you happy."

"Victoria's Dreams: Adventures in Space" tells the story of the young, precocious Victoria. She is being raised by her single father, Daniel, who adopted her at age three. They live in Hollywood, California.

Daniel gives Victoria a puppy for her 13th birthday. She names her puppy Amigo, and he becomes her best friend.

Victoria posts all of her wishes and ideas onto her "Happily Ever After" bulletin board, focusing her goals and motivating her toward making them come true.

When she has to come up with a project for her school's science fair, Victoria drifts off into a dream that takes her and Amigo on an amazing adventure into outer space, where they are exposed to a whole new world of possibilities.

When she awakens, she has a great idea for her school project, but will her classmate, Robert, beat her with his creation?

"'Victoria's Dreams' is meant to encourage young imaginations, and to promote the confidence it takes to dream without limits," says Sandra.

Sandra Alvarado is a television news director and lives in Los Angeles, California. She was born in Chile, and moved to Hollywood, California as a child. Her parents, Abraham and Fresia, encouraged their four children to dream big, and assured them that with hard work and perseverance, anything could be possible. She has two sons, Jordan and Brandon, who write screenplays. When they were small, she made up stories for them. They suggested she write a book.

Sandra has always wanted to tell stories that encourage children to pursue their dreams.

"Victoria's Dreams: Adventures in Space" is available now on Amazon in paperback and Kindle eBook. Spanish edition coming soon.
