Unique Books Gets Kids Thinking About Life Values Image Eighty-seven year old teacher publishes new book, Have You Talked Values With Your Kids?, that challenges kids 8-12 to think about thirteen life values: gratitude, forgiveness, courage, kindness, etc. A statement about each value by a brilliant thinker, ancient or modern, is presented.

The kids are asked to explain the meaning of each statement and to answer questions about the use of the value in their lives. No answers are given! Each child must discover his or her own answers through his or her own thinking. There are no wrong answers. All answers are respected. When ALL kids have finished speaking, adults may ask questions or contribute their own thoughts, always being respectful of the kids thinking.

The book is not a course of study. It is simply adults and children thinking together about values that are essential to our civilization and to our national happiness.

"This book empowers children to value the act of thinking and to think about values. Have You Talked Values With Your Kids? Is a book whose time has come. In this age of electronic gadgetry and online activities it is more important than ever for parents to talk to their children about the importance of essential values. It promotes deep thought on the part of both children and parents." says Clincial Pyscologist, Dr. Corrine Masur, Psy.D.

The book is easy to understand, easy to use, and fun! It speaks to adults of all faiths and children of all backgrounds, and has received acclaim amongst Ph.D. family psychologists. The book is available online at thehappythinkerspress.com.
