ST. LOUIS PARK, Minn.

V.C. Thomas reveals the pro-war sentiments of politically influential self-declared Christians in America with "US-Christians-for-Wars" (published by Xlibris). It is a compilation of articles found on the Internet. With this, Thomas paints a shocking picture of who he believes is mainly responsible for terrorism, death, destruction and genocide around the world since World War II. Based on the numbers killed in Asia & the Middle East, the USA is responsible for terrorism and genocide on a colossal scale, the author says.

Thomas cites the US-led invasions since WWII and the aerial bombing campaigns conducted by America during these conflicts. Thomas' sources include John Tirman's "The Deaths of Others: The Fate of Civilians in America's Wars" for information on the resulting innocent civilian casualties. He slams the U.S. military's multi-billion dollar defense budget and the military-industrial complex that profits from the nation's war-prone policies. The recent wars, Thomas argues, are also primarily directed against Muslims and Muslim countries in support of Israel, in stark contrast to the Cold War when they served as U.S. allies in its fight against communism.

By presenting the mixture of ideologies, religious beliefs and geopolitical goals espoused by "US-Christians-for-Wars," Thomas gives readers a compelling look at another side of the United States' policies and its consequences.
