Traitor Dachshund Introduces A DACHSHUND'S WISH

Traitor Dachshund, the children's book imprint of Minted Prose, LLC, is pleased to announce that it has created a SMART presentation entitled A Dachshund's Wish Math Lessons Part 1. This presentation was made using SMART Notebook collaborative learning software for use in the classroom on SMART Board interactive whiteboards. The presentation, which has received Elite Accreditation from SMART Technologies, is available at no charge to educators on the Traitor Dachshund website at http://www.traitordachshund.com.

A Dachshund's Wish Math Lessons Part 1 is aimed at students in grades three to six. Young learners build their math skills as they solve problems inspired by the book. A Dachshund's Wish is the story of Paws, a fun-loving puppy, who wants to become a boy. An animated Paws introduces each section in Traitor Dachshund's SMART presentation. Other features of the presentation include SMART Notebook software functions such as hide and reveal, drag and drop, pull tabs, and links. The teaching goal is to demonstrate that math is applicable to many aspects of day-to-day life and not just in formal math problems.
