It's not about where you start it's about the path to a fulfilling destination. Tony Moore tells his story of humble beginnings and international success in his new book, "One Of A Kind." Born in Northampton, England, Moore lost his mother at age four and then forced into a string of foster homes. After earning his engineering degree, Moore quickly moved up the ranks of several international companies before landing in Indianapolis, where he ran a leading firefighting glove company.

Moore wrote the book to help others understand that a humble start can't stand in the way of entrepreneurial spirit.

"I went from foster homes to designing and supplying gloves for the entire US Army and the FDNY, with so many twists and turns along the way," Moore says. "My story can teach the next generation about entrepreneurship and temerity."

"One Of A Kind" follows important milestones in Moore's life, but its heart focuses on more profound messages. At its core, the book is about learning to close the door on bad events, opening the heart to success and eventually learning to focus on making a differencenot making money as a measure of success.

"I had to learn these lessons the hard way, through decades of hits and many misses," Moore says. "My hope is that the book inspires readers to take the risk, to risk potential failure, in order to reach their success without looking back."
