Everyone has had their time wasted before. This is the sentiment that inspired Todd M. Thiede to write his new novel "Time Killer" (published by iUniverse), a mystery about a man who finally gets fed up with other people wasting his time.
"Have you ever stood in a line at a grocery store while a person in front of you argued every price and then at the very end they pulled out a book of coupons?" asks Thiede. "Have you ever waited in a drive thru as the person in front of you took forever to order his food?"
"Time Killer" is about a person in Rockton, Ill., who has had all of those things happen to him. And he has decided to something about it. He is getting rid of the time wasters in Rockton. Now it is up to detectives Max Larkin and Jesse Fairlane to stop the Time Killer of Rockton.
An excerpt from "Time Killer":
"Today, it seems like everyone is running to this place or that. Nobody seems to stop and enjoy the time they have. Everyone is in such a hurry. I, for one, am going to slow myself down. Enjoy the little things in life. If I find myself in a line, I will just accept that I need to wait. If someone seems in a hurry behind me in a line, I will let them cut in front of me."
The Time Killer is a murderer on the loose. "Everyone at one point or another in their lives have experienced someone wasting there time with no regards to their feelings," says Thiede. "This man is just taking his feelings too far."
