Acclaimed, award winning Nashville songwriter and author Thornton Cline will be a featured speaker at the 2013 Winter NAMM Show (National Association of Music Merchants) to be held at the Anaheim Convention Center in Anaheim, California. Cline will give a presentation from his newly released, breakthrough book, Practice Personalities (Centerstream/Hal Leonard Publications) on Sunday, Jan. 27 at 3 p.m. The Winter NAMM Show is the largest music trade show in the world with more than 95,000 attendees from more than 90 countries.

Cline will reveal his discovery of nine practice personalities based on observations and interviews with more than 1,000 music students and over 25 years of teaching experience. These discoveries are all uncovered in his innovative book, Practice Personalities.

Thornton Cline was twice awarded "Songwriter of the Year" for his gold and platinum hit, "Love is the Reason," recorded by King of Romance artist Engelbert Humperdinck and Pop Queen Diva Gloria Gaynor, known for her mega-hit, "I Will Survive." Cline has been nominated for a Grammy and Dove Award for his writing and musical performances. He has had more than 150 of his songs recorded by major and independent artists. He is the author of three books: Band of Angels, Practice Personalities and Protected for Life. Cline is the director of the internationally acclaimed music group, the Nashville Suzuki Players.
