With the publication of his new collection "They Really Happened" (published by Trafford Publishing), author and teacher Thilagaraj Kandiah Muniandy presents readers with stories meant to both educate and entertain.

"They Really Happened" features 10 true stories that impart good moral values. These stories can used to improve English language proficiency, utilize leisure time beneficially and teach literature at an elementary level.

A teacher of English to non-native speakers, Muniandy has built his book to be useful as well as fun. The title will attract young readers, he believes, and the simple vocabulary used will ensure immediate understanding and avoid constant reference to the dictionary. This will simplify the reading process, which should be smooth, undisturbed and uninterrupted.

"There is degradation in values and proliferation of negative ideas and factors into the minds of the members of today's society," Muniandy says. "This book will have a cleansing effect on them."
