An up-close and personal glimpse into the political direction of the United States, "The Right Wing: The Good, The Bad and The Crazy" reveals a comprehensive exposé about the social and political realities that go on without much scrutiny from the oblivious public. Created by Charles Rider, an attorney at law, this compelling and informative book reveals a myriad of insights about the political path of the country's leaders.

Tracing the history of the "right wing" politics in the United States from Prohibition through President George W. Bush's administration, Rider details its influences on every president, from Franklin Delano Roosevelt to George W. Bush. Filled with perspective, his book also contains chapters that tackle the John Birch Society, Senator Barry Goldwater, Joe McCarthy, Fox News, the Christian Right, the Military Industrial Complex, and many other "right wing" issues.

"In the councils of government, we must guard against the acquisition of unwarranted influence, whether sought or unsought, by the military industrial complex. The potentials for the disastrous rise of misplaced power exist and will persist. We must never let the weight of this combination endanger our liberties or democratic process", President Dwight Eisenhower's fare-well address to the nation.

Based on extensive research, this book contains useful information that is not generally presented or known to the reading public. Analytical and inquisitive, it explores various government issues such as government financing and programs conducted for the poor and middle class. From gay rights, to the Afghan war, to government policies and all the way into the public's role as concerned citizens, this book is a must-read for every American citizen.
