The Power of Positivity Exemplified in New Memoir 'Just... Image In her new memoir, “Just Dance,” Daksha M. Patel tells the story of her late grandnephew, Rakesh, and his battle with Leukemia. His drive and integrity, even in times of pain and uncertainty, was a continual inspiration to his friends and family and his advice, “don’t worry about anything, just dance” lives on.

Patel collected memories and stories from her own experiences with Rakesh and from his close friends and family. She shares his story not only to inspire others, but to help fulfill the dream of writing a book that Rakesh was never able to see come to fruition for himself.

“A positive attitude and perseverance can help people through difficult times,” the author said. “In the middle of Rakesh’s 3-year struggle with cancer, all he could think about was how he could help others who were in his situation.”

With all book proceeds going to St. Jude’s, readers will find joy in Rakesh’s story and peace of mind in the power of staying positive even in the darkest of times.
