Author Robert N. Britcher carefully pens a provocative anthology that evokes the history and theories of truth and the acquisition of common sense, logic and science in The Limits of Truth. This is the author's venture in exposing his own emotions, feelings and thoughts on the ontological sense of humanity and history. He aims that this book will showcase the genuine quintessence of faith, science, and art.

This volume reveals intriguing essays on theoretical truth that encapsulates the history and theories of mankind that do not go beyond the logical, propositional and investigative truth. The essays are literary and non-academic in style. The author conveys his point of view that truth is an evolutionary concept that arises among human (and hominid) societies. This evolutionary view stresses the high degree to which our reasoning and truth-telling are rooted in our emotions, which account for, not just meaning in the linguistic sense, but also for the meaningfulness, or emotional significance. It is the latter which leaves humans open to subconscious as well as fully intentional lying, but also to great works of art and acts of faith.

Britcher hopes that this book will enlighten readers' minds on the true issues of reality. This book is written to express the hidden truths that have long been unnoticed. Through the author's powerful essays, this volume will definitely gives readers a new perspective on how to value humanity and its complex concepts.

Skillfully written, highly imaginative, extremely interesting and truly enlightening, The Limits of Truth is a fast paced and powerful narrative that is for readers who want to learn and discover the different paradigms and ideas about philosophy and life.
