Rose State College in Oklahoma City presents a Rose State Live! performance by "The Moth" stage show.

Hailed as "New York's hottest and hippest literary ticket" by The Wall Street Journal, The Moth is an acclaimed, not-for-profit organization dedicated to the art and craft of storytelling. Beyond a night of engaging, real-life theatre, The Moth Mainstage offers an environment for communities to come together in celebration of common experience with a few "best-of" tellers from The Moth Radio Hour and The Moth Podcast.

These storytellers will be telling brand-new regionally specific stories to be recorded and played on The Moth Radio Hour. Don't miss this incredible opportunity to be a part of the making of this award-winning series. For more information about The Moth, visit their website.

Moth Podcast host Dan Kennedy will emcee the event. Dan Kennedy is the author of "Loser Goes First: My Thirty Something Years of Dumb Luck and Minor Humiliation," and "Rock On: An Office Power Ballad," which The Times of London named a Book of The Year. His new novel, "American Spirit," has just been released, his essays appear in GQ magazine, and also in several anthologies including The New Yorker humorist Ian Frazier's recent collection, "Humor Me: An Anthology of Funny Contemporary Writing."

To purchase tickets call 405-297-2264 or purchase online at http://www.myticketoffice.com. Please note that service fees apply. Tickets will also be made available for walk-up sale at the Rose State College box office, 6000 Trosper Road, Midwest City, OK 73110, two hours before showtime.
