Tacoma R. Anderson wanted to let go of her emotional reaction to life's challenges for her to overcome feelings of rejection, confusion and anger as she moves forward. It inspired her in writing "The Deepest Part of Me . . . . : Echoes of My Soul" (published by Trafford Publishing).

This book is filled with inspirational poetry that will take readers through the journey of life's many ups and downs. It will show the growth of self-awareness and the strength gained from trusting in Christ Jesus. It is truly cries of the soul soothed by the stroke of a pen and embraced by the paper to help overcome the hurt, pain and disappointment and record the joy, happiness and love. Through it all, readers will learn there is no greater love than agape love.

"Everyone has life challenges to be loved, accepted and valued as an individual," Anderson says. "With these poems, people will relate to the journey, the truth of raw emotional battles within the heart and mind by being true to oneself."

"The Deepest Part of Me . . . ." hopes to make readers realize that they are stronger than anything that is causing them to feel less than capable of overcoming life's many challenges.

About the Author
Tacoma R. Anderson was born and raised in Fries. She is an army veteran and ordained pastor. She began writing in her early teenage years as a means of releasing pain and expressing thoughts that others did not want to hear. Her inspirations for poetry are things that provoke the deep thought process, things that are a part of everyday life that others often overlook. It was then that she realized that her writing was a gift from God. Her major influences in life are God, her God-fearing dad, her art teacher, and poets Maya Angelou and Langston Hughes. She has performed spoken word and recited her works in poetry showcases, women's history programs, church events and other venues. She has been published by International Library of Poetry in "Our Unforgotten Graces," "Poetry's Elite: Best Poems and Poets of 2000, 2002," and "America at the Millennium: The Best Poems and Poets of the 20th Century."
