In his revelatory new book "True Myth: Black Vikings of the Middle Ages" (published by Trafford Publishing), author Nashid Al-Amin explores the theory that the Vikings were black-skinned peoples and suggests that their race is the reason Vikings are not credited with the discovery of America.
Thoroughly researched, this historical work seeks to prove that the Vikings were predominantly a black-skinned group, primarily of old African or Egyptian stock, who had long inhabited Europe and Scandinavia. According to Al-Amin, they would later be admixed with black Asians, most likely Huns, and emerge as the fearsome Vikings and Norsemen of history.
"'True Myth' is an honest book, perhaps the most honest book ever written about Europe," Al-Amin asserts. "It boldly discusses the intermingling of races, the omissions of the more popular histories and logically makes clear that most human beings carry mixes of varied races in their genetic make-up."
In addition to giving a history of the Norsemen, "True Myth" also discusses the earliest human habitation of Europe, the migration of whites into the continent long afterward and how the rise of the Roman Empire led to the dispersal and demise of Europe's older black populations, eventually leading to what Al-Amin calls "the whitening of the continent."
