Meanwhile, he falls in love with an Aryan nurse, but when his Jewish background is revealed and he is sent to multiple concentration camps, their relationship alters their lives with tragic results.

Miro differentiates his work from other World War II historical fictions by incorporating stories about the German propaganda movie industry and the S.S. Cap Arcona. The S.S. Cap Arcona was a German ocean liner that was used as a prison ship and sunk by the Royal Air Force while carrying prisoners from Nazi concentration camps.

About the Author
Sergei Miro, a China native, immigrated to Israel in 1953 and moved to the United States in 1964. He is a member of the American Institute of Architects and had his own practice for 40 years in New York City. He resides in New Jersey with his wife, two sons and grandchildren. His autobiography is titled "Cycle of Destiny from the Land of Dragon to the Promised Land." His second novel is titled "Love Affair in B Minor."
