A young woman realizes the fantasy of a lifetime in author T.M. Saunders' new book, "Chronicles of a Starchaser" (published by iUniverse).
Bishop Alexandrah Hays looks out at the universe from her post at the Antarctica Shuttleport and dreams of the adventures to be had. It is her goal to become an astral-terrestrial archaeologist. When she meets a unique cosmic traveler, the Commander, her aspirations become her reality.
Together, Bishop and the Commander embark on a wild and dangerous exploration across the cosmos. They discover an ancient abandoned city where they are asked about the location of a missing artifact. If Bishop and the Commander can recover the object in time, they'll save the universe. If not, the Desolators, a dark and evil force, may destroy everything.
"On a clear night, have you ever looked up and wondered what might be out there among the stars?" Saunders asks. "When people read, they seek adventure and want to be taken to other places, with each word holding them to the page."
An excerpt from "Chronicles of a Starchaser":
"'This is Bishop Alexandrah Hays,' I said quietly in an overly melodramatic tone, 'on an unknown world in an unknown system, billions of lumen-spans from Earth.' I paused and looked up and scanned the stars. 'The Commander indicated we were way off our intended course for ... reasons unknown. We're ... taking a look around.'"
