Sam Egube has seen success in his life, but those accomplishments did not come to fruition overnight. From his job as a refuse disposal supervisor to help make ends meet through his current career as a banking and business consultant, he has worked tirelessly to take responsibility for his own circumstances.

Egube's latest success is the publishing of his new book, "Thoughts from a Wealthy Perspective," which lays out a series of ideas that challenge readers to think differently by looking at their responsibilities, roles and relationships and calls people to action through powerful advice and philosophy.

While responsibility is difficult to claim, Egube explains that personal responsibility is required to create wealth and challenges readers to take responsibility in all roles. Egube uses his own experiences from his highs and lows in the professional world to provide knowledge to young professionals in similar situations.

"I have had real challenges in life but giving up is unhelpful," Egube said. "Blaming someone else provides an illusion of comfort but is unsupportive for moving forward."

"Thoughts from a Wealthy Perspective" places an emphasis on relationships and responsibility. Egube discusses that without value in relationships, those relationships are unsustainable.

"We must leave a legacy," Egube said. "I hope this book will challenge readers to action."
