PALOS VERDES, Calif.
As a former advertising executive and teacher, author Joseph J. Cronin has observed that those who are ineffective in managing themselves are also incapable of managing others. He points out that self-mentoring is vital in developing one's managerial skills. To help readers increase their chances for professional success, he introduces "THEORY YOU" (published by Xlibris), a self-mentoring book that aids readers in making good career decisions.
"THEORY YOU" proposes self-management, as opposed to other management theories that deal solely with the management of others. It is built on the premise that a good manager must first learn to manage himself. Designed to provoke potential managers to think about their career in a more strategic light, "THEORY YOU" helps develop the leadership skills of employees.
Through Cronin's book, readers will learn that adherence to self-mentoring can propel a person to the top level of an organization. "THEORY YOU" equips them with the right tools and resources for career advancement.
